Effect of Fast-Frequency Pulsed Current Parameters on FFP-TIG arc Behavior and Its Implications for Inconel 718 Welding

چکیده

Tungsten inert gas (TIG) is currently one of the most widely applied welding technologies. However, arc energy divergence and high heat input conventional TIG can lead to defects in heat-input-sensitive alloys (such as Inconel 718). Introducing a fast-frequency pulsed current (≥20 kHz) creates process named tungsten (FFP-TIG). The behavior FFP-TIG has advantages over terms contraction, pressure, density. With an increase FFP amplitude or frequency, diameter area are reduced, pressure at center increased, temperature reduced. weld method was adapted for 718 based on behavior. This study provides fresh insight into development application physics research industrial applications.
